RURAL Life
The gite comfortably sleeps 6 people plus a baby. It’s a former barn that has been converted to provide a spacious and contemporary living space.
It’s set in a rural plot surrounded by fields. Three bakeries, a butcher, a delicatassen, the supermarket and petrol station are within a two minute drive. The village of Gavray can be accessed via the nearby road.
DINING IN STYLE
Just off the hallway is the kitchen/diner which is a very sociable space to relax with friends and family. It’s a light and airy room with plenty of room for meal preparation. The kitchen is very well equipped which is perfect for foodies.
Guests also receive initial supplies of household items and a small welcome basket.

COMFY Bedrooms
All three bedrooms are located upstairs. The master bedroom has a king sized bed (160 x 200cm). You’ll find ample storage, a comfy sofa and an ensuite shower room.
There’s a second shower room and the remaining two bedrooms. The beds in both rooms can either be a superking (180 x 200cm) or two twin beds (90 x 200cm). Both rooms have storage facilities and blackout shutters.
Outdoor SPACE
A door from the lounge leads to the rear garden. It is fenced with a gravelled patio area, lawn and flower beds.
Guests can eat al-fresco as there’s a table and chairs. A BBQ, sun loungers and a sun umbrella are also provided. There are also some outdoor games including boules and badminton racquets.

Location, Location, Location
The garden offers views over the surrounding field where you can relax in warmer weather. There is very little light pollution so you can enjoy an evening of sitting under the stars.
There are some fantastic views in Normandy including Mont Saint Michel, the historic buildings and the expanse of beaches. The gite is ideally located for some great sightseeing trips.

The gite comfortably sleeps 6 people plus a baby. It’s a converted barn that has been designed to provide a spacious and contemporary living space. Lots of little extra touches make guests feel as if it’s home from home.
The well-equipped kitchen and dining area is a very social place to hang out. Guests use the lounge area for relaxing, finding a quiet space or cosying up in front of the wood burning stove.
The entrance hall is very large providing additional storage space. The barn doors have been replaced with a wall of glass making it very light and airy. The addition of a utility room/cloakroom with wc and basin makes it very practical.
Two shower rooms means that the property is very popular with extended families and friends holidaying together. The ability to change the bed configurations gives additional flexibility.
I live across the courtyard from the gite so am usually on hand if you need any help or advice. The gite and garden are private and are not overlooked by the main house. Guest privacy is respected at all times.
