Normandy velorail – a fun day out

The vélorail at Condé-sur-Vire is around a 45 minute drive from Gavray. Using an old railway track, you can take in the scenery as you cycle alongside the Vire river. The 11 kilometer journey takes about an hour and a half along a fairly flat track. Each cart takes 4 people with 2 people cycling and 2 people sitting down. It costs 20 euros per vélorail and is suitable for children. The station is open every weekend from April through to September and every day in July and August.
