A Lovely Holiday
The gite is a real home from home – comfy, light and fresh on hot days.
Bayeux is a pretty village. The tapestry can be viewed at a good pace – not hurried or dawdling so you get to see all of it.
Lots to see and do here. We will recommend Maison Ella to our friends.

We’ll Be Back
Our second visit here this year and very enjoyable. Everything we could possibly need in the fabulous gite.
Lots to do with teenagers too – the zoo at Champrepus, Bayeux Adventure park, Granville, the velorail in Condé-sur-Vire were very enjoyable. We also ate at our favourite restaurants in Percy and Gavray. We’ll be back next year.

Lots To Do
We had a lovely time at the gite. It’s spotless and it has everything you need.
There’s lots to do in the area. We visited Granville, Coutances, Abbaye de Hambe and also Omaha Beach.
Thanks for all the attraction leaflets. They were very helpful. We were able to have the holiday that we hoped for.

What A Place
We had a lovely 14 day stay in your gite.
For us it was a little trip down memory lane staying in this region. When our boys were young we stayed regularly in Normandie so we re-visited all the ‘old’ places’.
Your gite is great and we would surely recommend it.

Wonderful Stay
Our second visit to Maison Ella – it’s just lovely. From the warm welcome from Chris, her fantastic welcome basket and the comfort of this beautiful gite. There is everything and more that you could need. Chris, you have thought of everything and provided such a clean and comfortable place to base ourselves in Normandy.
We have enjoyed leisurely mornings and evenings in the beautiful garden.

Just Amazing
My husband and I stayed in the gite with friends. We toured the area and spent our evenings cooking amazing meals, drinking local cider and sampling many local cheeses.
The gite had everything we needed and we were very comfortable.
Chris has gone above and beyond to welcome us and help us with restaurant selections in the area.

A Delightful Stay
Thank you for a delightful stay. The accommodation is well-equipped with not only everything needed for a self-catering holiday but an abundance of information about interesting places to visit. Chris, you are a thoughtful and generous host and we hope your business thrives.
We especially enjoyed William the Conqueror’s castle at Falaise, the Bayeux tapestry and Mont St Michel.

We Loved It
We have never had a holiday in France before and with two boys aged 19 and 16 we weren’t sure if they’d enjoy it or not. We needn’t have worried as they thoroughly enjoyed it. The gite is perfect with all that anyone would need in a family home. With the weather being so nice we have had a chilled out few days.
Thanks for helping us to find interesting places to visit. There are so many places to go to that we have run out of time.
